If they can't hit much off kluber, then the Tigers need to foul off pitches, grind out ABs, and try to drive up his PC.

Tigers get on the board by FC on Martin...2-1.

At least they won't get no hit or SHO.

Lewicki dug himself in deep, but got out of it with minimal damage...3-1.

6-1...VerHagen sucks...send him back to AAA.

415' solo homer by Martin off kluber...bet that felt good...6-2.

9-2...and that will do it...would need an entire flock of rally geese for the Tigers to comeback now.

I think the Tigers are going to have a difficult decision to make. Nick has one year left before he becomes a free agent. Christin Stewart is pretty much the same as Nick...a poor outfielder that appears to be able to hit. I don't think you can have both of them on the team long term because Miggy is going to DH in a few years

Miggy k’s way too easily, he just doesn’t look all that into it today

Series win streak @ home ends...back to 5 under .500 again, which seems to be the Tigers' comfort zone right now. I am losing any remaining hope that they might somehow achieve a .500 record @ any time during the remainder of this season. How far under that mark that they might wind up at, by the end of the season may depend on if they can trade any SP/RP for prospects by next month's deadline.

They aren't good enough to contend but aren't bad enough to get the 1st pick in next year's draft. Looking ahead at some of the players that could potentially get traded

Fulmer - probably the best asset to get the most in return because of his past few years and he is under team control until after the 2022 season.

Boyd - He is having a good season but his track record isn't as good as Fulmer's. He is under team control until 2022 and will be 31 that season.

Nick - last season of arb. before he becomes a FA. Do the Tigers want to give him a big raise this season or a contract after 2019???

Miggy - Untradeable due to the stupid contract they gave him

Iggy - might get a bucket of used baseballs for him

V-Mart - he sucks...nobody will want him

Zimmerman - see Miggy

Fiers & Liriano - might get some mid level prospects for them if they continue to pitch like they have so far this year

I haven't been able to watch a lot of games this year. Is he brutal out there?

Metrically, of 27 MLB RFers with at least 250 innings in RF:

19th UZR/150

but

tied for last in Defensive Runs Saved

Today didn't help these rankings.
