Game #7 : Michigan vs. #22 Xavier (11/27/24 8:30Pm Game thread

Was curious what people think of us so far. We're 1 pt. favorites right now in this one.

Schedule gets a lot tougher starting today. Next we play an undefeated UW in Madison, then a 5-1 Iowa team at home, then vs. a ranked Arkansas team in NYC at the Jimmy V Classic. That rounds out our first 10 games.

Very tight early. Both teams playing tough defense.

Michigan is on a 19-3 run and have opened up a lead.

Play great defense and they hit a deep three with shot clock running down.

Michigan gets sloppy and they cut lead to 11. Michigan was up 18 and playing great defense and shot clock was a 1 and Xavier hits a rainbow three. Last three minutes Michigan played sloppy got a gift out of bounds call. Michigan had lead back up to 14 with the ball and could have taken the last shot of the half but dummies missed a three. Xavier cuts lead back to 11 at halftime.. I hate not using the shot clock right at the end of the half.

This team is fun to watch. They can get sloppy at times but man they have a lot very big rotation they can use.

CBS Sports write-up of the game said John Beilein was there as well. I'm glad he's still around.

This team is shooting really well too... 50% from three point range. damn.

John was engaged heavily in the hiring of the new coach.
Turnovers aside this team is something to watch. They play with pace they like to pass., and they can score. The freaking have a 7 footer who can handle the ball . Its amazing.
