Game 8 Lions @ Jaguars Thread

Solid game all around, not counting garbage time yards/points against the defense

hopefully it means we get avril for about 8 mil a yr. Either that or let him walk and draft a stud in rd 1.

Jax prior to today ranked tied for 6th in allowed sacks, Lions had 1?

massive improvement needed on that D line.

we didnt make the stupid mistakes today....well we made a couple....but JAX was too shitty to capitolize on them lol.

Luck over 400 yards passing today geessh I can not believe how successful some of the rookie QB's have been these last couple of years.

Can't even find one in the last 10 years

There weren't many games were a Lions RB even broke 70

Using 2 RB's is a fairly new concept as well. It would have to be a game were someone already had 70 yards and then a sub broke one for 60 or 70 yards very late in the game. I think I remember a game where someone broke one for 77 yards late in a game ...maybe James Stewart???

I'm glad though. I'd rather see these guys play right away rather than sit on the bench while their teams still stink.

Banks single-handedly blew any chance of a Redskins comeback on the last drive

Haaa I forgot about that indicator, has it ever been wrong?

Yeah in 2004. GB beat Washington and Bush still won. So up until this point it is 17/18. Lots of similarities between 2004 and 20012. Both Kerry and Romney were/are bad candidates.

i think they said it was wrong like once in the last 50 yrs or something. Fine with me....im sick of everyone saying its obamas fault for everything. It will be a nice change of pace to be able to blame a mormon from a different planet for US going to shit over the next 4 years. black people have suffered enough lol.
