Game 8: Lions vs Chiefs *LONDON* Thread

Josh Wilson injured for the 10th time this game. ...simply making a tackle. Team full of pussies.

I'm bored. Where's Tony?

I haven't seen a guy like Ebron miscast as a blue chip since Matt Norver played Ricky Roe in the movie.

Now that was good. Finally!! ;)

Drafted, traded for, signed whatever. This defense is piss poor. Oline, piss poor. RB-QB, all crap.

Out of the last 3 drafts how many of the players drafted actually see significant pt? Ebron, Swanson (sucks),Warford (solid), Van Noy (never, and very dissappointing), who else?

So you're agreeing with me?

The fact that the Lions bought in an unproven offensive coordinator to begin with is just plain unacceptable. Did Caldwell get the "go ahead" from anybody before hiring Lombardi, or was did he have freedom to do whatever he wanted?

Lombardi is laughing his ass off.

Coordinators don't get guarantees. They actually don't even get contracts, they are hired.

So he may be laughing, but he's collected his last NFL paycheck.

Because Caldwell was supposed to be the Offensive Guru Im sure they thought he could bring in less experienced guys. Drew Brees QB coach, Manning's QB coaches the whole crew was supposed to fix Stafford.

Typically the head coach has 100% control over his staff. Caldwell hired him, Caldwell fired him, and Caldwell replaced him with someone just an inexperienced.

Can the TE coach be the Ocoordinator next game? Sort of just pass it around like a hot potato? What would the guys on the staff be like? Nooo man I WANT to work in this league again.

Mercifully, I had to miss the 2nd half to go watch my sons soccer game.....watched the 2nd half on fast forward and muted. The only positive I can take from this whole game is it almost assures Caldwell will not be on our sideline next year.

This entire thing needs to be blown up. There is absolutely no need for Tulloch, Pettigrew, Ihedigbo, Lewis or Mathis to see the field anymore. None. Time to see what we have in Whitehead, Van Noy, Abdul Quddus, Lawson, Ebron and Fuller on a full time basis.
