Boxscore.

Fulmer allowed seven runs on 10 hits in 4⅔ innings. They are now an almost incomprehensible 5-14 in Fulmer’s 19 starts.

The Tigers (40-57) scored one run on three hits, snapping a scoreless streak of 19 innings. They have lost six straight.

The Tigers are 4-20 since climbing to within a game of the .500 mark on June 17. They have lost 14 of their last 16 road games.

The Tigers (40-57) have scored two or fewer runs in 35 games this season.

Home plate ump appologized to McCann and fulmer for missing a few pitches today but fulmer still bashed him in the post game interview. lol. After watching highlights of close pitches not called for strikes they showed three and honestly I thought only one of the three they showed was missed other two were off the plate. Maybe fulmer just isn’t as good as we think or maybe he’s not 100% yet from last years elbow issues and surgery idk but imo they should shut him down early this year

One thing is for sure his trade value is about worthless as it can be right now.

Michael Fulmer blasts umpire's strike zone after Tigers lose 9-1 to Astros.
Mlive

Fulmer said he felt like he had some of his better stuff this season. Fulmer was frustrated with Pat Hoberg's strike zone throughout the game and voiced his displeasure with it after the game.
"The guy was God awful," Fulmer said of Hoberg. "It was a bad day for him and for me. ... You can't give a team like the Astros extra strikes. It's just what it boils down to. I made my fair share of mistakes, but there's 10 calls about pitches inside the zone that he called balls. I let him know he missed 10."

I know he missed at least one foxd didn?t show 10 they only showed three fulmer also questioned his pride saying maybe ump didn?t have as much pride for his job as pitchers do, might have been an unessasry remark imo

The more Fulmer opens his mouth, the less respect I have for him. Hopefully they can still trade this guy.

DET is 9-21 .300 WPCT since Miggy went down. We actually won 5 in a row immediately after, which means we are 4-21 .160 WPCT since.

They have scored 98 runs in those 30 games, 3.3 R/G. Only KCR has scored less. 76 runs in last 25, barely over 3 runs.

Amen! Michael has not been consistently near top-tier since May 2017. Been on a roller-coaster ever since. He's turned into a #4 starter and rivals won't pay an arm & leg for his services anymore.

Hope MLB fines or suspends him for his post-game comments yesterday. Hopefully the Tigers Kangaroo Court already fined him.
