Class B has # 8 Haslett off their upset of # 5 Willimston and # 4 Wayland now plays #3 Grand Rapids Catholic... GRC may be to tough for the public school team...

Haslett games was 10 miles from my house in Wayland so I went. After 1 Haslett was down 18-8 to GRCC and they were rattled. Haslett Coach Changed the defense and out score GRCC 9-4 in the second down 22-17 at half.. The defense by Haslett continued in the third out scored GRCC 15-7 GRCC were up 32-29 after three.. Haslett had a 38-31 lead at the 4ish minute mark and with just about all 5 of the Haslett girls good ball handlers it was over.. They spread it out only turned it over once and made a few free throws and ended up winning 48-38.. Impressive three quarters of defense and out scored GRCC 40-20 after the first quarter... Very nice win verses a good team..
GRCC coach was real young and he was schooled by the older Haslett coach after the first...
