Goat: thewolverines24. posts this gem before the Arkansas game:

We match up pretty well with Arkansas. Their top 5 scorers are all guards. They get very little production from the inside since their best player, Marshawn Powell, went down for the year. Their leading scoring big man, Marvell Waithe, is 6'9 195lbs. So it's not like he is a load to deal with inside. ...
great analysis, eh? forgot about that tall gumpy white guy that came out of nowhere to win the game. let's try not jinxing us anymore going forward.

Donkey: brianpaul1976 - whoever that is. Arkansas starts the game 11 for 11... so obviously it's time to talk about how awful our players are.

Boo.

That tall, gumpy white kid had scored a combined 13 points in his past 5 games. No way I could have seen him scoring 11 on us today. The only other teams he scored in double digits against were Grambling St and Texas Southern. After they stopped being completely on fire, it was obvious how well we matched up with them. We just shot like shit. Again.

Arkansas played an atrocious second half of basketball. They only scored 20 points. We failed time and time again from three and didn't take advantage.

yeah, you're not as much of a goat as vic was with his "I foresee Denard running for 600 yards against VaTech" post, but still. we lost. and it's your fault.

You are clearly a homer. If the talent on this team is so great like you say, then where would we be without Burke? If you think what we have now is gonna be better than next year when we add 3 top 150 players you dont know anything about basketball.I dont want to see anymore Volgrich and Mcclimans type players at Michigan period. As much as i like Douglas and Novack i am looking forward to adding Mcgary and Robinson into that starting lineup. We need more size and length and that is what both bring to the table, as well as talent.

Damn it. Next time I will hit a three.

Where would MSU be without Green? Where would Wisconsin be without Jordan Taylor? You take the best player off ANY team, and see how fast they tank.

I, too, am questionable about Vogrich, McLimans, Christian, and Bielfeldt. Vogrich at least seemed serviceable last season when he would come in for spot time, nail a 3, gut out a rebound, or dive for a loose ball. I haven't seen anything from him at all this season. McLimans is absolutely horrible and I just don't see Christian or Bielfeldt becoming anything. In a year when they obviously need help, they redshirt Max and Christian can't see the floor.

Still, even if JB completely drops the ball on all 4 of those players, he's still done a pretty good job of evaluating talent considering the other players.
