the conclusion that god hates republicans is based on the logic of Pat Robertson regarding prior hurricane landfalls.

Look at that! You used logic to fulfill the prediction that you would come around on the existence of God. (I forget, was that Kawdup's prediction or Byco's or was it someone else?)

Ha! I am fairly certain it was Byco who claimed that champ would become an "ardent" or "fervent" believer again. I forget which adjective, but I'm positive it was one of those two.

Looks like God hates Haiti, the Dominican Rep. and Cuba first.

Don't get too excited about MC ... he wrote "god" lower case.

"Storm Isaac threatens Caribbean, U.S. Republican Convention"

I'm pretty sure Isaac ain't gonna hold a candle, next to Storm Sarah...

Good point Tinsel...is this where Trump is going to do that impersonation thing? If this storm can interrupt the convention, it might be a good thing for the Republicans.

Hurricane Isaac was created by the Obama administration in an attempt to delay the RNC. Their super secret socialist Kenyan weather manipulation ray is working.

A mixture of satire and wishful thinking on part of the media is what I got out of that.

Nah.....Rush believes it :lmao: most likely took 1 to many vicodin before airtime.

Does Canada even have talk radio that discuss topics other than Blue Rodeo and Lanny McDonald?

Byco, if a hurricane hit Tampa, and Mitt Romney, every billionaire GOP donor, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Rupert Murdoch et al drowned in the storm surge, I would start going to church again.

I would renounce my atheism, and become the most pious catholic since St. Peter.

not sure being so close to Detoilet my Van only picks up American Stations...especially when parked down by the river.

No. You wouldn't take under those circumstances. Another's misfortune would not be sufficient for you to embrace the faith. You are still in your denial phase, like St. Peter, although his only lasted a few minutes.

And I don't know why you don't have the same contempt for the statists and their deep-pocketed donors (many of whom are the same people!) on the other side of the aisle, because they have the identical agenda that's called a different name.
