Good Stafford / Bad Stafford

lol.....run the thing full speed ya fucking dolt....he threw it while moving backwards off the back foot.

it was all arm...almost only a flick of the wrist.

how's your jaw feel after taking one to the chops from a "canuck"...

Everyone in this thread said it was off his back foot. I guess we're all wrong, lol.

I haven't seen the video, but how can you throw it drifting back with your back leg moving forward lol.

You need to watch the video. I watched the game...he was obviously dropping back to pass and he throws off his back foot, He does NOT step into the throw. He does it in a way where it's so quick, he just flicks his wrist and hits Calvin in full stride. Personally, i fn hate it when he does it, but he has so much confident in his arm, that he feels he can make that throw all the time.

I think with the offside and Staff getting some pressure he probably didn't have time to set. It was a free play and it was an awesome throw. Not many making that throw.

Watch the whole reel. He gets his left foot down and is hips around. This isn't a matter of opinion... The pictures I posted are for the slow people, any shit brain can see his "back foot" is extended completely in front of him after the ball releases... Watch it.

Still shots, really? You can't tell a dsmn thing from those. Might as well just use Photoshop. And no one agrees with you.

For posting about football for "6 years" as you claim, you are plum dumb aren't you. Any thoughts of your own Slick? Does he get his left foot down? Wanna just plaguerize everybody else?

Stafford completed 21-of-30 pass attempts for 267 yards and three touchdowns, showing improved accuracy, something that was lacking in recent weeks. Detroit's win over Denver ended a two-game losing streak and gave the Lions much needed momentum heading into their Week 9 bye.

The former Georgia Bulldog looked far more comfortable in the pocket against the Broncos' pass rush. He seemed to set his feet on nearly every pass attempt and patiently went through his progressions, instead of getting rid of the ball too quickly. Stafford's improved accuracy and timing with receivers allowed Detroit to speed up the tempo, which played a critical part in the Lions' four offensive touchdowns. He had one throw that was almost astonishing as he threw it off his back foot on a rope to Calvin Johnson who went 56 yards down the sideline for a TD against Champ Bailey.

So he didn't get his plant foot down? That's what ur saying?

His plant foot? What the fuck are you talking about? You can still throw off your back foot with your plant foot on the ground, right?

He's a right-handed QB, ok? His "plant-foot" is his right foot. You think throwing off your back foot would be him with his left foot in the ground? That's next to impossible to accomplish while drifting backwards...lol. is that what you're saying? I'm confused...

When I said do you hae thoughts of your own, I meant that you come up with. Not copy and paste off somebody else's web blog. Maybe in Canada you have a different understanding of "your own thoughts"

Not that this really means anything though. Seriously, who the fuck - other than Slick - gives a fuck what foot he threw off of. My original point in this was - here, I"ll quote that thing Slick just put up cuz it's what I've been bitching about for the last 2 weeks "showing improved accuracy, something that was lacking in recent weeks" and "The former Georgia Bulldog looked far more comfortable in the pocket"

Throwing off your "back foot" means you are standing on your back foot - with your front foot in the air, and you chuck it up. Clearly that isn't what happened on that throw - not that it even matters.

No, your foot does not need to be in the air. You got some bad info there.

This thread has taken a turn for the worse. ...lol.

No need for the Canada bashing though...it's old and weak. It has no substance, bro.
