He cleans out everyone and yet keeps Caldwell. Who I'm still not happy with.

Probably not a good fit with new team, White will land somewhere I'm sure. I figured he would be let go, no surprise.

Well, at least some continuity for team coming back. No CJ is going to hurt them though, such a matchup nightmare.

Continuity is not always good.

If Quinn has the authority to let go of WHOMEVER he pleases and he kept Jim Caldwell....to me that says he really does like Caldwell.....at least liked him more than anyone else that was available and willing to come here.

Of everyone fired.....I have a hard time with coming up with anything great any of them did for this organization. I know some of those let go were more "behind the scenes" execs......but still.

Looking forward to FA and the draft.

Agreed 100%. For those thinking this guy was a puppet, I see no proof whatsoever. We complain all the time about how the Ford loyalty has hurt this team. If the only thing you can take from this and all the other moves is "Fuck that guy, he kept Caldwell"...well, I don't know what to tell you. I guess I'll buy you a beer sometime.

I'm sure he does. I just don't agree with him.

That wasn't my point. I just don't think Caldwell's the guy.

I wasn't necessarily speaking to you or anyone specific. I just remember a lot of people thinking he was 'just another yes man' when he didn't can Caldwell.

While I wasn't mad that Caldwell got a 3rd season, I definitely wouldn't have shed a tear if he got canned. The people that don't think he's the guy have more than enough reasons to think that.

Figured you weren't just wanted to point out what I meant.

I'm kind of excited to see him wiping the slate clean (for the most part) and very interested to see how this bunch approaches the draft.
