Great Presidents

wow. Abe Lincoln was a great president and here's his story? insightful stuff.

I didn't know he was born in a log cabin, a lawyer in Illinois, freed the slaves, preserved the union, then got shot in the head.

Oh, you didn't know that?

Yeah he did that, and now there's a movie about it too.

I just saw that movie. Everyone in this nation owes him a debt. If not for him, we'd all be little better than cattle. Walking, talking vampire crops.

Man, how did FDR, the biggest Dem-socialist-enabler (apart from Obama obviously) in history, make this list?

Someone email that author and make sure he didn't get struck by lightning after he typed that.

There's a movie starring Bill Murray as FDR coming out as a matter of fact (the movie is coming out; it's not a movie about FDR professing to be gay).

I saw the trailer when I went to see Lincoln, it looked pretty good.

But I hope if Bill Murray gets nominated for an Oscar, and doesn't win, he won't get all pissed off, and look like he's going to get up and walk out of the ceremonies.

would be sweet if Bill Murray won an Oscar, dressed as FDR for the award ceremony, and rode up to the stage to accept the Oscar in a motorized wheelchair with a cigarette holder clamped between his teeth.

Yeah, that would be pretty bitchin.'

and if the Oscar host was someone who sucked... and BMurray ran him over with the wheelchair... I would start watching the Oscars again.

There was once a guy on Venice Beach who used to juggle three things, and one of them was a chainsaw.

I think one of them was also an apple, and he used to take a bite out of the apple every time he caught the apple, which was right before he caught the chainsaw.

I don't ever see him out there anymore; he's probably dead now.

Anyway, I always thought he would have been a good Oscar host.

Here he is; you can see the chainsaw juggling at 15:50.

He isn't eating the apple in this clip though....

Anyway, if you watch the rest of the clip, you can see why he would be such a good Oscar host...

Edit: Actually he is eating the apple in this clip...just not when he's juggling the chains saw...he's eating the apple when he's juggling the bowling ball, the apple, and the golf ball right over the little kid who was wearing the Detroit Tigers' cap...
