that screenshot from the last Republican debate that has Schnubio, Cruz, and Trump in it, with the closed captioning msg reading [unintelligible yelling]... yeah, that about sums up the GOP in 2016.

i can't tell if it's real or not, but Rubio is apparently trying to follow Trump's strategy and attack him with schoolyard insults. this is going to backfire on him badly.

it appears one of the things he said was that Trump has never actually punched anyone in the face. yes punching someone in the face is apparently a presidential pre-req now. Mankind has really come a long way from caveman days.

for the record, I have a hard time imagining any of them have punched anyone in the face, though Trump would be the most likely in my book.

if both Rubio and Trump punched Cruz in the face at the next "debate" this would become a two man race, and the next debate might just be UFC cage match.

something tells me that if Kasich is there and either Rubio or Trump hit him with a limp-wristed knuckle sandwich, he'd mop the floor with all of them. He wouldnt stop there either and would attack the moderators, the audience and the cops when they showed up. he seems ready to explode.

I think you're half right.

Kasich is the quiet type from a blue collar background who probably knows how to handle a bully.

But I think he would take of business and leave it at that.

Once upon a time, pugilism was part of physical education in public and private schools, so people from that era have both hit somebody in the face, and gotten hit in the face.

I don't know if any of these guys were around in those days, though.

EDIT: This is from a few years ago, but it looks like boxing is coming back to public schools in the UK.

Must've been the latest OS update

and now chris christie endorses... Trump???

some backroom Atlantic City deal or something? although granted, he definitely wouldnt endorse Cruz, and endorsing the Rubio-bot would look super weird after his attacks on it at that one other debate.

I guess you did describe it pretty accurately.

On the bright side, since Trump resurgence since Iowa, all of my ultra conservative friends have been keeping their mouth shut about politicians not related to GOP. They are usually insufferable. Good times.

I don't see that, but I'm sure he has some underling working for him who's sole job is to punch people for Trump, or take punches thrown his way.

Probably Ivanka.
