Griffins looking to defend the title playing Manitoba in a best of five series, and GR has home ice in the 2/3 format. The Griffins finished the season on a roll at 9-1-1-1 in the final 12

In the regular season the Griffins were 6-2 verses the Moose. 2-2 at home and 4-0 on the road.
Regular season.
Grand Rapids 42-25-2-7 93 points.
Manitoba 42-26-4-4 92 points.

G1 - April 21: At Manitoba Moose, 3 p.m.

G2 - April 22: At Manitoba Moose, 3 p.m.

G3 - April 25: At Griffins, 7 p.m.

Great to see that GRG's top scoring is all career AHLers. Counting Puempel in there cause there is very little chance he gets a chance at NHL now.
 
Had a 2-1 in game lead but just like parent club gave up lead with 1:09 left and lost 3-2.. Down 1-0 in series.

Game two griffins win 5-1.
Series tied 1-1 heading back to Gr.

Griffins down 2-1 in best of five series :/

7 times in 8 elimination games the Griffins have won at home.

Game one lost 3-2.
Game two won 5-1.
Game three lost 6-3.
Game four won 3-0.
Game five Lost 5-1.
