Happy New Year to all Detroit and Michigan college sports fans. Hopefully '13 will become a year of celebrating a World Series championship by the Tigers, and that the Lions, Pistons and Red Wings will at least show improvement over '12, including a partial NHL season for '13, although the prospects of any hockey games being played in the beginning of the new year is still looking pretty bleak at the present time.
