Recently I was listening to this song
(which is great) and after reading the lyrics, realized the song was intended as a tribute to Rassan Roland Kirk, who you've mentioned before.

I was going to try to start listening to him, because he sounds like the shit, but I got overwhelmed by the sheer number of albums/recordings for him.

Can you recommend a couple? I'll order some CDs.
