Hey Where Did the "Is MichChamp a Bad Person" Thread Go?

Are you upset the thread is gone or your post ;-)

Ha ha...

Well, I'm not heart broken over either...

...but...

Yes, I liked both....

I liked the thread...

I liked my post...

Now...went away from the board for a good period of time after my post....

I went to work...

I went to the bank...

I went to the gas station...

And I went to my psychiatriast.

So a good deal could have happened on that thread that I'm not aware of while I was away (I just got the new Iphone, and I'm still trying how to figure which side is up; it's gonna be a while before I'm able to check the board while I'm waiting for my psychiatrist).

So I'm just wonderin'...

i was eager to see if most people thought MichiganChamp was a bad person or not

Was it because I found a Socratic flaw in KAWDUP'S construction?

IT WAS A JOOOOOKE!!!!!

Personally I voted under Other:

[KAWDUP]: "MichChamp is a total commie, pinko, wackjob, Liberal Elistist, misinformed snob ....."

[TheVictors]: "He's a Gold-teeth-gold-chain-wearin', Lawsuit-bringin', Euro-girlfriend-havin', Elitist-Brother-Rice-Brotherin'-Bad-Ass Brilliant- Dunkin' !!

[TinselWolverine]:

"Yo!
Hold up!
Time out!
TIME OUT!
Y'all take a chill!

Ya need to cool that shit out! And that's the double truth, Ruth!"

I make a joke about the "worst" concert of all time... and double down on the sarcasm when a couple of idiots - sorry, not idiots; people who are just a little slow... just *a little* slow - don't pick up on it... and all of the sudden, I'm the bad person because THEY didn't get it.

umm . . as usual mis-information abounds.

First:

TheVictors - I do not think Michchamp is even half of what you stated.
The only ones I would keep is elitest (no political affiliation tied to the trait), sometimes ignorant, snob. But hey he went to Michigan - what do you expect?

Second:

Tinsel - I did provide what I thought was a witty response to your "flawed" post. Not flawed at all my friend.

and

Third:

MichChamp and others - The point of the poll was obviously meant as a humorous retort to the charge that I was taking things too seriously. I didn't see the humor in the follow-on responses given by MichChamp from the "concert" thread. Sorry I just didn't.

I mean really if you have to explain it, it loses a lot. It was meant to amplify what can happen when someone doesn't necessarily see the humor in something, that it can cut both ways.

Yeah, my "flawed" post was meant to be humorous/ironic too.

But I knew you would know that.

Oh well.

I mentioned to our moderator for this forum that he could remove the thread, as he didn't really like the personal "attack" nature of the post. No worries, the discussion of its flawed-ness would have been classic, though. :*)

Well, when you have a postulate that Hitler was "nice," and Mother Theresa wasn't, you definitely have fodder for discusion.

Also - I thought the rule was personal attacks were acceptable - just stay away from wives, daughters, mothers, sisters, etc...

Anyway, my impression was your fellow Brother Rice grad was more amused than anything.

Just my two cents.

I started to get that.

He never said how he voted though. I would still like to hear that one. :*)

Looking the wrong way, bro. And certainly mis-remembering our conversation.

Possibly, I know there are more than one moderator.

Did I get it right that you usually don't like polls like that? Could be age catching up to me.

Check that - I guarantee it is age catching up to me. :*)

Yes, I normally don't see a purpose of a poll like that. I knows its age with me, once I had to start checking the 46-55 age bracket square -- someone might partake me at 55 rather than the youthful and highly skilled athlete that I am ;-)

Mine was a reference to a rather famous part of the Spike Lee Joint, Do The Right Thing ....

MC being a PE fan of the era, I thought he might recognize it.

TinselWolverine's part would have been played by Samuel L Jackson.
