Sure it's not until Wednesday at 9:30 EST, but it's more fun to talk about the relevant major program.

I'm ready to watch Iggy show out in his first B1G/ACC Challenge

We?re a basketball school anyway.

Let's hope they don't decide to crap all over the rest of the season after getting off to such a good start.

OT: I'm watching a horse race right now and there's a horse in the field named Hawt Mess. How appropriate that I'm watching the race now even though it was run yesterday.

Who did you bet on?

I don't bet; I follow the sport for the history and because I love horses. However, maybe I should place a wager once in awhile, because when I like a horse because of some random factor (name, color, etc.), that horse usually does better than if I try to actually handicap the race.

Edit: Because I like the name Hawt Mess, said horse finished third.

When did your start riding horses? My grandpa had a horse farm and riding is one of my favorite memories. I miss hitting the trails during the fall. So beautiful to see the leaves change while on a ride.

Well, the next time you get a chance to bet on the race that was run yesterday, you might want to place a wager.

Not a whole lot of handicapping in that; just bet on the horse that already won.

Yeah, again I don?t know if you remember but that notion came up on this very same thread one year ago.
I don't. Hell, I was probably the person who brought it up. I do my best to forget every Michigan vs OSU football game.

I haven't ridden a horse since I was in college (over 15 years ago), though I used to ride many years before that. Most recently, my mother and I paid a visit to the Kentucky Horse Park on the way back to Ohio after the Breeders' Cup. We got to see this guy, who won the Kentucky Derby in 1994.

It's been about 15 years for me too. I really miss it. I had a long time soul mate horse named Sandy. Dirty blonde horse that could run like crazy. My riding days kind of died when she did.

Horses are majestic and the connection can be really deep.

Horse racing and showjumping are how I get my horse fix nowadays, though I do plan to start riding again some day.

Edit: Look at me, hijacking another thread to talk about horses yet again.

Should be an easy win. They finished 3rd in the 4 team tournament they were just in. I forget who won that tournament

Better than talking about football.

I went through my DVR and deleted just about everything Michigan football-related, including canceling tomorrow's scheduled recording of Inside Michigan Football. I don't need that shit rubbed in my face again.

How much did UNC lose from last season?
Luke May is back for his redshirt 26th year and Cameron Johnson is back. They're very good.

Coby White and Nassir Little are their 3rd and 4th best. Both freshman, both talented. Confident our D can make it very uncomfortable for them.
