How do you think we will finish the last 4 games?

I know it is getting ahead of everything but I am curious how you guys think we will do. Minny, @Oakland, San Diego, @Green Bay remain. I'm still holding out some optimism that we finish it out with a sweep, but realistically I only see us going 2-2.

We should beat Minny, but we can't all of a sudden get an attitude that they are a pushover. Oakland is in the same boat as us with the playoffs. San Diego is always good in December. Green Bay might want to go for 16-0 and knock us out of the playoffs at the same time instead of resting their starters.

I'll call wins the next two games with losses to San Diego and Green Bay I suppose. Regardless, it's going to be an interesting month looking at a potential playoff bid instead of the draft.

3 wins just might get us the #5 seed.......Atl can easily lose to Carolina on the road and they still have NO at the Superdome. Chi has Minny & GB on the road....and TEBOW this week...c'mon Tim

Minny, Oakland and San Diego wins. Lose finale at Lambeau

3-1

2-2 may still sneak us in for some reasons that tsmith mentioned. Plus if the Giants knock of Dallas next week, that helps us because we have the tiebreaker against Dallas...

I think Chicago is a sinking ship

lol......we can beat Chicago(if we have same overall record) only if we finish ahead in the division, they already got us in the conference(assuming we lose to GB). We would need to beat Minny at home this week and Chicago would have to lose to both Minny/GB on the road.
for teams within the same division, the division record comes before the conference record tiebreaker
we would be 3-3..they would be 2-4

I think we need 3-1 so i voted that way. Hopefully Rivers doesn't get it in his head that he was considered elite at one time. Oakland on the road can be tough but they're a hard team to read.

I now have a really hard time in believing that the Lions will do any better than going 1-3 to finish out the season @ 8-8 and maybe at best go 9-7 and still no playoffs. This team has overall become largely reckless and rudderless to some degree, and we have seen in the past what happens when the Lions' brass fired a HC like that with Fontes, then brought in a strict military-like disciplinarian like Booby Loss in what became a futile attempt to restore some kind of order to a team that reflected its Head(case) Coach.

4-0 baby!!!!! and the Lions crush the packers in Green bay....

If not, dire to win the next three. No way we beat GB in GB if they're going for a perfect season.

The team is realistically better than last year, which is about all I can ask for. I just hope that they still manage to put away teams that a "slightly above average team" should. If that happens then we have a realistic shot at 9-10 wins. Fuck, I wish they would play with some composure for a game or two.

I'm not even thinking about Chicago. I think their playoffs hopes left yesterday when Forte went down. He was their only shot.

Now it's about Atlanta likely getting 1 spot, and then either Dallas/Giants competing with us for the last spot.

We have the tiebreaker with NYG for the conference record.....We have the tiebreaker with Dallas for head-to-head...and only 1 of them will win the division...NYG still have a tough schedule, play Dallas twice and the Jets..

2-2 or 3-1.. It all depends on how the Lions gather themselves..
Agreed. I think we beat Minnesota, split with Oakland and San Diego, and if Green Bay rests their guys we should get a win there. Something tells me that they'll be shooting for 16-0 that game and we won't get so lucky.

2-2 if GB isnt playing for perfection with wins vs min and GB.

Oak is a tough call they are so up and down....but i actually like the match up if Palmer cant throw the ball like last week. No suh this game and from what i saw vs NO the dline pressure is lacking without him. Palmer puts a good game together and we lose.

SD gonna be tough with VJ, Floyd, Gates and Mathews all back healthy and they having to really focus and win out to have a shot at the playoffs. We caught them at the wrong time although their Oline is decimated so if Suh comes back on a rampage our dline could be disruptive enough to make a difference.

1-3 if GB is going for a perfect season...we dont beat them if theyre trying.

Min sucks...could be a close game if Peterson plays. But i think hes going to be held out. Hold Harvin in check and you win.

we have suh back for oakland
3-1 hopefully AP doesnt play this week
and green bay might rest starters but we'll see.
rivers might be the deciding factor in us making the playoffs. but i feel good about it with our secondary back

2-2 beating Minnesota and Chargers.

Could be good enough for playoffs if Chicago loses to Denver/Pack or Vikings/Pack. Lions win tiebreaker against Bears if that occurs. 5-3 common opponents vs 4-4 or 3-3 division for Lions vs 2-4 for Bears.

I must have been the only one who saw the Raiders get dismantled by the Dolphins.

Yeah Lions have a shot to beat Raiders. But I think they get healthy like every other team just in time to play the Lions. Very tough game, luckily 2-2 could make playoffs now with Bears issues.

Vikings/Lions and Broncos/Bears results this week will give a frontrunner. Lions beat Vikes they can't lose on division record unless Bears beat both Pack/Vikings. Lions will just have to beat either Raiders or Chargers not both if Bears lose to Broncos/Pack.

Everyone start Tebowing.
