keep getting elected??

She's a complete moron.

I wonder the same about someone like Elizabeth Warren. How is she electable? Sheila Jackson Lee? Maxine Waters? Nancy Pelosi? The sheeeple "baaaa." That's how. The electorate puts more effort in DVR'ing their The Walking Dead than in reading a ballot.

jerrymandering at its finest.

along those lines, I was looking at a map of the Michigan congressional districts... ridiculous. you wonder how the GOP could keep control of the house? Look at a state like Michigan, where the state voted for Obama almost 54-to-45 against Romney, yet only 5 of 14 congressmen are Democrats...

insane. if anyone has a basis to complain about a bias in the power structure and the electoral process, it's urban city dwellers. yet all we hear is whining from the retards in the sticks and the NASCAR crowd, who's idiotic, illogical and often racist views are FAR overrepresented in Washington

Elizabeth Warren? The former Harvard Law Professor? One of the most respected experts on bankruptcy, secured transactions among other fields? How is she electable?

Is this a serious question?

Perhaps we are just too big and fractious to be one nation any longer.

Bachmann is stupid.

Has nothing to do with being an elected woman. Maxine Waters ...she's a lifer.

well, you know, they found some real serious skeletons in her closet... she lied about being native American or something on a college faculty application, which, despite there being no evidence she benefited from this in any way, is so serious of a transgression, it completely undermines everything else she's ever done in her career.

so all those academic works that use big, hard-to-understand words, along with her work providing oversight to TARP, and in the CFPB (which business did not like, and we just KNOW reflexively business is always right when it comes to those sort of things because we've been well trained by corporate media)... you can just dismiss those out-of-hand because she once claimed to be of partial cherokee descent, a claim which has not been conclusively proven or denied.

Oh, she's smart, so that makes her electable. She went to Harvard. She taught there too. I am so sorry that I forgot my place and questioned that her views and the premises of republican government are wholly incompatible.

So, yes, it is a serious question that can be asked of virtually everyone elected official holding Federal office these days.

She ran against Scott Brown.... That is the reason she won.. If he had run a half way decent campaign he may have won.. But when you run on bully politics most people will reject that...Now Bachmann is a different story.. I am convinced if she got her hands on the button we would all be dead..

Ok, it's a serious question, and yes you can ask it of anyone. My point is to simply ask how it is you don't understand why people might like her given that she is an expert in many very relevant fields of study and well respected in the world of academia? She's smart and personable with no obvious "issues" that would scare people off. What exactly makes her not electable?

I told you already what I think makes her not electable. She's another political hack who thinks she owns me and my labor. My life, in brief. It's all the going rage in Washington these days.

Did you know that seven of the 10 wealthiest counties in the USA are contiguous to Washington D.C.? You think they are all entrepreneurs? Not even close. They are serving that ballooning bureaucracy, The Fractured States of Entitlement, directly and indirectly, and growing wealthier, especially in the past four years, as the rest of the country goes poorer. And Warren calls herself a champion of the Middle Class, when she's syphoning from its labor like the rest of our elected officials. I don't give a shit how smart she is; she's a parasite, like all the rest of them.
