my grandpa told me to always follow up the statement "I went to XYZ Univ." with the question, "Did you graduate from there?"

but I rarely do because it would usually come off as mean-spirited.

He's a funny kid and has been working at the coffee shop for a little while. And I've seen him around the way on his bike and there's one small rental property near ours that has 3 or 4 cars out front all with Sparty stickers of various design.

The small apartement building at the end of our block seems to have new Hoosier tenants as well.

Maybe it's just another tidal wave of young folks bailing on the midwest for what they think will be greener pasteurs ...who work at a coffee shop while trying to get a "real job."
