I never was that much into goth or punk in the 80s, so I never listened to bands or groups associated with that type of music, like for example Bauhaus, Black Flag, or The Cure, the latter one of whose members, Robert Smith, performed live with Siouxsie and her band in the 80s.
Anyway I decided to buy one of her compilation CDs , titled "Twice Upon A Time" and was hooked. Went to see the band perform live @ the State Theater in Detroit in '95.
