I was happy with what I saw today

This game worried me. WE lost to MSU and had a bye and I was worried on how they would come out. Then we gave up the quick 7 and I don't know about anyone else but I got a little worried. We still arent as good as we need to be but this team played hard. Purdue isnt great but they arent bad either. This is a game I think we would have lost in years past. Hoke has this team fighting and believing in themselves.

BTW did I see that right Minny beat Iowa? How bad do you have to play to lose to Minny? I mean I am happy for coach Kill but they are pathetic.

I was not worried at all by this game. I had to spend the week playing pyschologist to all of my UM fan buddies, because they were worried. I kept telling them to relax, that Michigan would easily cover the 2 td spread...I hope they all tell me how right I was tomorrow at work.

I guess part of it is although I am very sold on our staff I am not as sold on the players. I believe we are playing above their talent level. I also am very excited for the future.

I was worried too after that first drive and when the offense was struggling in the 2nd quarter. Seems like most of the games this season have started like that, and then they have come back. I liked the defense today. After giving up that first TD they got themselves together and put together a pretty solid game. The offense still needs work. Especially DR and his passing game. He is still throwing into coverage, and just throwing up the long ball on a prayer. The picks today were awful. I would think that by this point he would be showing improvement, but he is not. He doesn't seem to read the coverage or go through a progression on passes. Not sure what the problem is, but the lack of progess concerns me.

picks? Denard only had one, the other belonged to Devin.

We had better weapons on offense and it showed. I am really glad with the win... Now lets go on the road and win the next game...
