those with one year eligibilty left can transfer outside of big ten due to post season ban

not sure if this is true but i know big ten does discourage transfers within conference

but ncaa usually does allow transfers without sitting out for those who would miss their last post season opportunity

Never really understood this. Cause putting "i played in a sugar bowl and won" on a resume really matters? The tape throughout the year and the combine are the only thing that matters....who the fuck cares if you cant play in 1 game? Ppl might actually transfer and theyll use this as an excuse....but its not cause they cant play in a bowl game its cause of something else and this is their way out. dumb rule...

So would they let the guys that were suspended transfer since they were part of the violations?

Key guys that would be affected:
Nathan Williams (He applied for and I think was granted a 6th year for medical)
Johnny Simon
Travis Howard
Jake Stoneburner
Reid Fragel (I think)
The Middle Boren brother
Adam Homan
Etienne Sabino
Storm Klein (Not sure)

I am sure I am missing a few.

i really don't expect any to transfer - just on another board someone asked about teh exception to the sit out rule

Did anyone else find it interesting that the NCAA released their judgement the day active recuitment ended? I.E. they let UM go and sell some snake oil to a ton of kids, telling them O$U wasn't going to get punished...then the findings are delayed and released the day active rectuiting ends....

I keep hearing O$U fans complain about this...but to me they got hooked up by the NCAA. I think UM wouldn't have landed (or at least had a hard time landing) the last few recruits had they known that a bowl ban was coming...

osu coukd gave resolved this esier if they had been honest and open upfront

I think that players of any program that is probated should have to wait a year to transfer like any other player. Harsh, perhaps, but that's live. And don't you think they might have had some inkling of misconduct along the way in the first place and a) looked the other way or, b) participated in the illegalities.
