Inge 2.0

speaking of Inge. my wife wants him to be on dancing with the stars. i guess he might get all the votes.

Isn't he more like an infield version of Don Kelly?

Well the majority of Tigers fans are already preordained to dislike him, so I guess he has his share of similarities with Inge.

That is high praise coming from Detroit sports writers. Does that mean that we will hear about his "potential" until he is 35 years old?

Honestly I got a good laugh out of this comparison.

I never really cared much for Inge as he really rubbed me the wrong way in 2000 when I first met him BUT his defense was TOP notch and he at least had a LITTLE power to try and counter all the K's. Also was a low BB low OBP player.

Lombardozzi is not even in the same league as Inge both defensively or power wise and the only real comparison is the fact they both are low BB and low OBP guys because he isn't a big K type player like Inge was either.

I think I heard that Lombardozzi is a power hitter.

If he gets 2 stupid tattoos on his arms I might just get sick.

One reporter compared Lombardozzi to Inge.

I would be genuinely surprised if Lombardozzi approaches Inge's average annual production next season, Junior may not checkswing K, or strikeout about every 4 ABs. but he likely ain't hitting 16 homers or rapping out 30 xbh either.

Inge did that once and it was 2005.

If Lombardozzi starts winning the POTG votes in games he never played in then we'll know for sure.
