Iowa GOP spends 2 years and $250K to show there is no vote fraud. Now STFU about it.

They were South Side Irish, neighbors with the mayor himself, no doubt they would have voted for him anyway. No harm, no foul, right?

The 1st I knew of Daley was from the 1st two seconds of this track:

yeah... Chicago politics tend to turn national politics on their head. this book was pretty illuminating for me after I moved here:

Daley's police are out there cracking the heads of the hippies, and any other "liberals" who complain about it... his city is highly segregated, and he goes to great lengths to ensure it stays that way... they give huge amounts of cash to real estate developers (who are mostly Republicans, but don't ever oppose Daley in elections, and neither does the Republican Chicago Tribune). Yet... Chicago is corrupt because of "liberal" politics? it's a little more complicated than that.

These days the Machine is even further to the Right, as they've gotten more and more anti-union over the last couple decades, particularly the teachers' union. Daley Jr. pushed privatisation of the parking meter deal down the city's throat. And Emanuel is even worse.

Most of them don't read your DSF posts or watch MSNBC so they probably have no idea that they are actually racist.

I'm not saying they're racist, if poor urban blacks voted for republicans we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Why did I think KAWDUP might have something to add here, or even might admit "yeah, I guess there's really not a voter fraud problem. I learned something by posting on this board."???

I should've known better.

Yes you should have known better.

It really doesn't matter how big or small of a problem voter fraud is. I don't care. My position has always been that a properly written voter id law wouldn't disenfranchise anyone. That is why this circle-jerk of a thread wasn't really necessary.

But you go right ahead and keep putting words into my mouth if it makes you feel better, I just wish it wasn't a bunch of liberal talking point replies.

just admit that you want to cheat to win. would I be really upset if Austin Jackson used a corked bat in the world series and hit a game winning homer? fuck it, why not.

Huh? Is the sky blue in your world?
