Israel just killed a Palestinian official at a protest march for no reason

Seriously. Some jagoff counselor probably told me my 4.0 GPA wasn't enough and neither was being in Debate or playing Baseball ....

I think Brother Rice had one of the bigger Model UN programs.

(actually did it because of a girl ....a lot of late "studying" for the shit....)

Nah, those guys are obviously University of Arizona students. You can tell by the classroom buildings and palm trees.

No, I have been there on business quite a few times and stay at the Univ Marriott right by the main entrance to campus.

And my cousin went there, so I knew it was UA

That's byco in grad school on the right too, I'm pretty sure. Heh

Captain KAWDUP dork reporting for duty.

I loved Model UN. My delegation from Portugal at the time got a major award and beat out Russia at the time. Took second behind USA. The delegates representing our assigned country were alternates for the national DC version at Georgetown.

Oh well - to each dork his own. :*)

one of my Model-UN-playing HS classmates lives in Chicago now, is a gov't lawyer happily married w/two kids, but he apparently never got over high school because he still regularly googles people he hated back then (mainly those who picked on him) to see what misfortune befalls them.

aside from his family xmas card, that's the only time I ever hear from him.

we had one particularly prickish classmate (later an MSU alum) end up in a very, very bad situation of his own making about a year & 1/2 ago, and I swear, Mr. Model UN was practically giddy for months.
