It was weird to see Denard in the H-Back position

Anyone else feel weird about that?

no. I didn't think it was weird. ABCD - aka GOD - had been proposing they line him up there for a long time.

It's better for his NFL prospects to move away from quarterback next year...as Coach Hoke said "the best thing the player is usually the best thing for the team.."

I actually see Denard as more of a Heisman candidate in his senior season if Devin Gardner is the quarterback, and DRob is an all purpose offensive player...

I can't see where Denard fits in the NFL outside of a glorified return specialist like Josh Cribbs. He's just too damn small to do much else.

Plus, if he's getting knocked out of every game in college, how will he be able to survive in the NFL?

A couple of running backs are denards size.

Id like to see denard play kinda like darren mcfadden type player.

weird, denard's played in 5 games this year and hasn't been knocked out of 1 yet...

No. I like trying new things out we might get away with some good plays using it.

I'll tell you what, it's going to work out great in close games when we need a first down. No one knows where the ball is going. I sure as hell didn't.

This is what I suggested way back when Forcier was the QB. Would have added another weapon and taken some of the burden off Tate.

The first couple of times seemed choppy and slow to develop. After they ran it 4 times, it was loooking a lot better, about what should've been expected. Maybe that's why they put it in this game.

I like it -- more dynamic than 'genius' Urban Meyer's use of Tebow, the jump pass and all that. I said in another thread that I expect we see some trickeration in EL, versus the Corn and Ohio*.

From what I've read about Borges, I expect he's experimenting witth some things now to see how defenses respond. Maybe against Sparty late in the game Denard is not the decoy ...or Denard options to Gardner who can see Deeeeeal-eo wide open in the back of the endzone because he's tall (Gardner, not Dileo).

No matter what, I'm guessing the offense continues to evolve and show different things every game.
