Possible they knew there would be some fan backlash if Raburn was the first name brought up. Waiting a day for the Sept call ups might be a better PR move IMO.

Good riddance. All of his ABs for the Tigers have been horrible. And his ABs with men in scoring position have been the worst of them. Just not good enough.
