Joe Wurzelbacher, who rose from obscurity during the 2008 presidential race when he was championed by Sen. John McCain and then-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, posted on his website that he just started a job at Chrysler?s Jeep plant in Toledo.

?Can a conservative work safely and soundly in a union environment ? in a shop filled with union workers, activists, voters and lifelong supporters of the Democrat Party?? he wrote. ?You betcha.?
link.

not sure if this belongs in the Northwestern football/union thread on the Michigan, or here.

He's in a good place now; being a congressman or nationally known political pundit... working with "ideas" and "big words" took him out of his... uh... "comfort zone."

I wonder if Palin will ask him to put in a good word for Todd with the union steward? Her career trajectory had a higher arc, but it's been on the decline for a while as well... Todd may need to start pulling his weight around the Palin household.

Lol..Palins have money. I wouldnt worry about them

Oh, I'm not worried about them. For all I care, they can starve to death in an abandoned school bus in Alaska, like in that movie.

Back in the days when I was selling porn DVDs wholesale, iI came across this one porn store in Anchorage or where ever, where guys who worked with Todd Palin would go into the store and buy copies of "Who's Nailin' Palen?" to give it to him as a gag.

Anyway, congrats to Joe the Plumber for his cool union gig.

Life has been a lot of things, but boring?

Rarely.

I'm 53, and I'm definitely looking forward to finding out with is going to happen during the next two thirds or three quarters...
