John Merrill Suspended 12 games

Michigan hockey coach Red Berenson announced today that sophomore defenseman Jon Merrill has been suspended for the first 12 games of the season due to a violation of team rules.

Ugh. Thinking about hockey is painful. Remembering how close they were to winning it all last year still stings.
