Johnson comments on Young, Broyles, etc

Nice to see you warming up to the kid. I'm telling you, he's a playmaker here. He won't run his mouth and act the fool like Titus. I still like Titus' skill set, he just needs to smarten the hell up. How can you not want to play in this offense?

Now, go get some defensive players in the draft!!

I think the coaches are starting to realize that Titus is not able to change. Hes surrounded by class acts at the wide receiver position, and still cant get his act together. Im close to giving up on the kid entirely, hopefully being sent home for the Thanksgiving game will effect him in a positive way. The spoiled brat crybaby bullshit is not gonna work in Detroit. Pretty sure he knows that now.

I wonder who Titus was rooting for on Thursday?

Calvin Johnson hinted that Titus Young's benching could be more than a one-week punishment.

"I'm not saying it was due to (Young) being out," Johnson said of Thursday's success in the passing game. "But it was nice to see some new playmakers in there making plays. We are going to keep progressing with these new guys in our receiver group." Asked if Ryan Broyles and Mike Thomas would stay heavily involved, Johnson replied, "Yeah, no doubt."

You can tell CJ is fed up with him. For CJ to make any comments our drop hints like that speaks volumes....he's just not that kind of guy.

And you can tell hes opening his mouth up about this because he honestly feels Titus' presence on the field is doing more harm than good at this point. Not sure I care when Titus returns, if at all.

He'll prolly end up with one of the two teams that always seem to be willing to take a chance on the problem childs. Dallas or New England, hopefully we can still get something in return.
