Kansas Hires Les Miles

he goes from a prominent SEC team, a possible candidate for UM, to Kansas...the worst program in the power 5. How the mighty have fallen.

Hopefully recruiting for Kansas will be difficult enough, he won't be able to pull another Elliot Porter.

Just seems werid he wouldn’t wait for a better gig to open up. Maybe you are right td no one wants him. Wouldn’t Louisville want him ?

Rutgers is the worst Power 5 Program. Kansas beat them 55-14

Maybe he's looking forward to the Kentucky Bluegrass.

:hmm:

does Kentucky BlueGrass grown in Kansas?

Kansas isn't scheduled to play Kentucky anytime soon, like before 2028

Oh crap. I confused my basketball schools that start with K.

Surprised there isn't more chatter about the usc job.

First I read about it was today on twitter, when I saw the transcript of James Franklin refusing to give a yes or no answer to the question of whether he'd be the coach at PennSt next year, or whether he'd heard from USC's AD.

(he tried to pull a "I'm just focused on the Maryland game right now, which answers your question." but they called him on it.

He sucks... USC would be dumb to hire him. I want him to stay in the Big Ten because it will always be an easy win over a highly ranked team for us as long as he's on the sideline.

and Kansas hasn't beaten uofm in that time either.

I hope your crappy team can beat Rutgers Saturday.

good thing it's at home, right?

Kinda sad that's who the Big Ten scheduled you to play on rivalry week, but I guess somebody's gotta play Rutgers that day...

I agree Franklin sucks but they need some sort of name. How many years do they have before Chip Kelly gets a couple pieces he needs to hit stride and start taking all the talent out of So Cal.

so, at some point do you think they'll no longer consider uofm to be the buckeye's rival? don't you think that's really what's "kinda sad?" Maybe they should be calling it "Who's Your Daddy Week" in Ann Arbor instead.

Anyway, despite the fact that the outcome was clearly better for us, I couldn't care less about "rivalry week."

What's also "kinda sad" is there's only one school in the state of Michigan that's undefeated against Rutgers since they joined the B1G.
