The pipeline isnt the Keystone XL, currently being built, but the first already completed. Since the pipeline is mostly buried, much of the leak was 'contained" underground. This spill is of course an example of why the indigneous tribes of SD so vehemently oppose them. But since they are not a for-profit, free-market corporate "personhood" they instead were dealt with and punished post-haste, unlike those "sovereign citizens" who occupied and trashed the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon.
