According to Paul, convention planners offered the Texas congressman the chance to speak under two conditions: that he gave a speech pre-approved by Romney's campaign, and that he give a "full-fledged" endorsement of Mitt Romney.
?It wouldn?t be my speech," Paul said. "That would undo everything I?ve done in the last 30 years. I don?t fully endorse him for president."

I don't see how any patriotic American, whose favorite ballclub is in either a divisional or wild card battle (and that's a lot) could in good consciense watch anything else when their team is playing...

wow... not only did they snub Paul by forcing him to accept a Romney review and edit of his speech, as well as a full endorsement... they gave any states where Paul brought in a substantial amount of delegates the nosebleed seats at the convention: link.

seems to me, if I wanted to shore up my base and have a shot in the general election, I would've included the Paul people as a nod to my true conservative roots, instead of the bigoted, sexist, religious right.

RNC didnt want Pauls people heard during any of the key speeches so they basically exiled them...
