Legitimate Rape

Every once in a while one of the Connies lets slip what their real beliefs are and it makes for some great laughs. If these guys got full reign and were able to fully express themselves, American women would be wearing required burqas next week.

It's not enough to throw up the "I misspoke" BS. The guy is blaming the victim.

GOP pollsters figure a 10 point swing in his race against McCaskill....dude just harpooned his whole campaign.

funny thing is he has co-sponsered or voted with Paul Ryan on 4 or 5 bills that have dire consequences to womens rights....Dems already linking this clown to Paul Ryan.

His opponent (McCaskill) is using this issue to raise money for her campaign. If she ever came out and said "women can kill their unborn babies pretty much whenever they damn well please, except when I say they can't," it would shock and awe virtually everyone. It's what she believes, but because no one is willing to frame the discussion in this factual manner, no one is offended.

You edited this to make it even more farcical? Wow.

women should have the choice to do as they please with their own bodies.

GOPers are calling for him to step aside and the National GOP is cutting off funding to his campaign. That's quite an achievement these days.

guess it's just too awful of a soundbite, too close to the election.

if he had said something similar about an ethic/racial/gender group that wasn't ~50% of the voting population, he might've been fine.

funny thing is he is Paul Ryans buddy....like I stated before they've co-sponsered bills and voted the same many times on womens isues.

now Ryan is running so far away from this guy it's amusing.

That baby has a body of its own. But you and your heroine Ayn Rand are in lockstep on this issue.

:tup:she actually had quite a few beliefs that weren't "conservative' values.

I'm reminded of the irony of the Dem. outrage on Akin's comment (which is actually justified) when a sexual predator and multiply accused rapist is the keynote speaker at the Dem. convention, which is taking place in the city where I presently live.

Hypocrisy is bi-partisan.

You need to google these names: Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broadderick.
Wait; don't bother. The liberal media branded them as hysterical liars. Non-combatants in the war on their kind; insignificant and worth sacrificing to the "cause."

That's why they have a debate, 2 sides. If My wife wanted to abort one of my kids I'd like to be part of that decision.

I question your cavalier attitude over someone who actually treated women as objects as you vilify another who said something extremely callous and stupid, but has no history of doing what Clinton did on a mostly daily basis.

I dont vilfy anyone....I said I would have respected the clown if he would have stood by what he said...he has his beliefs I have mine.

the funny thing is watching other Conservatives cast the guy out like he was toxic...Paul Ryan actually was real tight with Akin , now wants nothing to do with the guy.
