Both players are rentals, Gomes is in the last year of a 2 year 10m deal.

Cespedes has 2+ years left on his 4 year 36m deal. Seems like a win win for Oakland...damn:ugh:

It could turn out to be good for both teams. Lester will benefit pitching in a pitcher friendly park and Cespedes could mash in Boston. The link I posted said Boston only offered Lester 4 years 70m....he would have been an idiot to take that deal.
