Lions sign Jake Scott and Michael Spurlock

I'm not a big fan of the idea of yet another change on the O-Line this year. We've already lost three starters on the line, a fourth might be very bad, especially when it's the center.

But, does it really risk Stafford any more to do it? 2 out of 5 returning starters means continuity is not even a factor at this point, so if you can upgrade your line by replacing the center, it might be a risk worth taking.

I'd certainly rather see them replace Dom this season than have more turmoil next season when Sims may be gone as well. Replacing a LG is a lot better than replacing a LG and a C a year after replacing everyone else.

It's dicey, but I say do it if it makes the team better this season.

Its not like replacing an all-pro it would be replacing a jelly donut. It helps, not hurt. Experience isn't always better.

Can't blame him. Draft OL in round one and he can't beat out anyone? Was it the coach who wanted to bring him along slowly or was it a shitty draft pick?

He beat out someone...the goal line FB.

Look, what's done is done, let's start focusing on some positives. They are working on getting the OL better. A few years late IMO, but at least they are trying now.

Hopefully Nagy beats out Raiola. Better to start everyone fresh this year. They are pros, they will gel quickly enough. Better than trying to rebuild for several years, wholesale change and it will be better in the end.

you're completely fucked....carry on, man lol

not fucked...im right.

In the past 3 years Fairley and Suh are the only players who have had any type of consistent playing time (and saying fairley is consistent is a huge stretch). If you were american youd be a perfect republican cause you fail to ever see the facts.

You're WRONG...kinda ;)

This team has been destroyed with injuries. That's a FACT.

Suh is a beast
Fairley is a beast
Best was a gamechanger.......he got hurt
Spievey played and started. Yeah, we know, he's shit but he played...
Fox???
Willie Young was supposed to be the answer...remember that? He's showed flashes but I think he's terrible. Oh well..he still played
Young looked like a steal his rookie year. He has a mental disorder...who fn knew?
Leshoure was decent...not a starter but came off a terrible injury and filled in. He was replaced...so what? You were crying about him all year.
Broyles is another gifted athlete who needs to stay healthy. he showed flashes as well. I love the kid and think he's going to be a great addition. We'll see...
Reiff is starting this year and hopefully shows why he was a 1st round pick. What's the deal?
Bentley played ok...nothing special
Levy is a starter...oops.

The rest are up in the air. You're bashing on guys from last years draft again like you always do because you have nothing else. Give these fn guys some time. You expect every draft pick to get on the field? You're fn deluisional, buddy.

You have no facts. You just moan like a chick and it's hilarious actually...lol. Ripping on late draft picks is pointless. And then when they do play, they're shit (according to you)..lol. So fn what? Seriously. You won't hit on every pick.

I worry about the top tier players we drafted. Not guys like Tim fn Toone. Holy shit.

Dejavu with you, man...same old stupid argument..lol

Show us a team who has a draft year where all players were great. Show us a team whose entire draft made major contributions.

It doesn't happen. Your arguments that the Lions are terrible at drafting is weak and short sighted.

Excuses? Oh..ok...lol. I didnt give one excuse...not one. If you want to say injuries are an excuse then so be it. You have absolutely no patience..

We didn't have a single one....unless you count fullback. Go look at the 2012 draft and grade that for me lol....its a joke.

Wait a minute, I agree with you and I'm a conservative.

It appears that 17 of our 22 starter will have come by way of draft picks..with a huge majority of 2nd teamers too..Bush..Burleson..J Jones..Tulloch and Quinn were Free agents.
Certainly will have some question marks opening the season..but lets see what happens

Correct, mayhew ran the ship so ass backwards that all the contracts expired on the same year and we had to replace several starters this year. So several of his picks like fox, reiff, broyles, delmas will be able to prove or disprove the "wait and see" argument ive been hearing for years. Ansah slay id hope would get plenty of time on the field and make an immediate impact. Your 17 number is high though...u missed guys like Houston and palmer.
