Lions vs Cowgirls Predictions

Cowboys 21 - Lions 17. This is a trap game.

Trap game? I think you guys are getting a little carried away. I think the Lions are the better team but it's not like you're playing the Bengals. The Cowboys have potential to be a 8-8 to 10-6 team this year. If they coulda held that 4th quarter lead in NY they'd be 3-0 now. The Lions aren't so good that they have trap games against playoff contenders.

Why are you here? Cowboys board >>>>>>

The Lions have a game against the Bears, a huge rival, on MNF, in front of a national audience, at home. I hate to break it to you but that game is a little more important than the one we are playing against your beloved Cowboys. There is a huge potential, IMO, for Detroit to look past Dallas in expectation of the Monday Night game. It's not a slight on your team, its just an opinion.

I dont like the matchup with Ryan's D and our OL.......Injuries will be key(Romo, Dez Bryant, Felix Jones, etc)

This is just as big......a win would give Detroit the tiebreaker with Dallas & TB, and of course another conference win

Look past a game against "America's" team..... ;)

Fairley is set to be in the rotation for situational passing downs and the Cowboys are built on the pass.

Also, Romo is injured, and it is probable that we will hit him, a lot.

Felix Jones will have success, however, we win this one much more handily than we did the Vikes.

Lions: 28
Boys: 17

If the Lions are "looking past" the Dallas Cowboys because a division game is approaching, Swartz should go back to the drawing board. You think Dallas would look past the Lions this year if Philly was next week? Not a chance. Trap games are games that your team thinks they should win 9 out of 10 times. Games against the FIns, bengals, 0-3 Chiefs etc imo. Not against a team where it could go either way. I understand the divisional thing but I just don't think Dallas is poor enough of a team to be over looked.

I think it depends on our qb protection. If the cowboys D gets after Stafford the way they got at Rex in the fourth quarter last night then it doesn't look good. I'm glad Dallas won the game so there won't be that "playing with desperation" we'll have to deal with like Minnesota. I think it's gonna be a close one.

24-20 (could go either way)

His D sure isn't like his brothers. I'm not worried about the Cowgirls D, they don't scare me outside of Ware.

Ware, Ratliff and Spencer (at times) are really the only ones to worry about. The secondary is threatening AT ALL.
Sean Lee is playing some good games at LB though...could be an emerging star.

Well I see that no way the Lions allow them to have a field day like the Viqueens just had.

did we sign need OL?
his overloading and scheming is much more effective than Minny's DL.
I can see M Morris playing much more to help pickup the blitz's

My point, the oline was dominated vs Minny. A little talking from Schwartz and suddenly they just suck rather than pitiful. Look at last year, we ran the ball well against Dallas. We had the same stupid OL.

And well I mean not completely sucking.

Dallas's D is so much better than last years.......because of Ryan...
"""the oline was dominated vs Minny""""". your kidding?

Well wasn't it unless you think Backus and company p,ayed well, lol.

Okay then. Lol. I'm just saying I don't think Dallas will have the same type of dominating play just because of Schwqrtz not allowing it.

It helps that Austin will be out. Bryant and Romo being injured but able to play will be a factor. More-so after we put hits on Romo possibly taking him out for drives or even the game. However the Lions LB core will have a nice test against Jason Witten, Romo will look at him often. Maybe we see a lot more Bobby Carpenter and his better coverage skills.

I don't see either team running the ball well. I also don't see the Lions looking ahead to next week with Schwartz being here, that won't happen. Cowboys seem to take us lightly however, that may play a factor.

Cowboys last 9 games came down to less than a td. They just played San Fran to OT and Washington to the wire. They have a banged up QB, no wr's and a banged up light weight rb...I don't think they'll take the 3-0 hyped up Lions lightly.
