Man, we're really losing a lot of good players next year. Not just players, but leaders. Just off the top of my mind;

Hemmingway
Van Bergen
Mike Martin
Koger
Odoms
Woolfolk
Huyge
Molk

Who steps up next year to fill in the physical AND leadership roles that these guys have taken on? My early front runners would have to be Kovacs, Jake Ryan, Will Campbell, and Omameh. A lot of young talent coming in as well. Should be fun and can't wait to see these seniors in January in their final game! Go BLUE!

I think that M's graduation losses will not hurt in the long-term, and it's the long-term that is once again a priority to this program. If those leaders that M is losing are true leaders, they have mentored leaders to replace them.

I'd rather say "Fuck it" and enjoy the road to hopefully a BCS game, but as I'm watching The Game on DVR again on a Sunday morning, I figure I'll give it a whirl.

Hemingway - Losing Hemingway will be felt, but with Stonum coming back (hopefully), Roundtree, and Gallon back along with Jeremy Jackson, I think the WR corps will be just fine.

Van Bergen, Martin, Heininger - I thought Jibreel Black has improved and had a strong year. He'll be a replacement on the outside. What was really troubling to me was that on OSU's goal to go drives, Big Will was on the sidelines. The middle of that DL is going to be a HUGE question mark going into next year. Can a three man rotation of Washington, Campbell, and Ash do what Martin, RVB, and Heininger did? I don't think so. Can they come close? They sure as hell better! Can Ondre Pipkins step in right away and contribute? Many 320 pound kids coming out of high school have too much "bad weight" and get pushed around because they've relied so much on their weight and not their technique. (See Campbell)

Koger - Brandon Moore is a large man! I don't know if we've seen how well he can catch. Though I thought Koger was underused all year. Denard running this offense for another year that relies so little on TE gives Funchess another year to grow and get a little weight on his 205 pound frame and for a guy like Ricardo Miller to get some reps.

Odoms - Happier for him than anyone else on the team. He started on a team that won 3 games as a freshman, then saw his role shrink each and every year as he battled through injuries. Two big catches to beat OSU as a senior has to feel good. Again, a 3 WR set of Roundtree, Gallon, and Stonum has to look pretty good.

Woolfolk - Shoot, he wasn't really a starter by the end of the year. Injuries really hurt his body and I think Devier Posey dropped a nuke on his confidence and mental state. Countess, Floyd, Kovacs, and TGordon all return next year. Still have Avery and Talbott (and where the hell was he all year, take a redshirt?) as backup DBs and next year is the year Furman and Marvin Robinson better get their asses into the rotation.

Molk - I have no effing clue! Khoury? Mealer?

Huyge - I think Schofield moves outside next year, giving us an OL of Lewan, Barnum, Khoury/Mealer, Omameh, Schofield.

Spring Ball will answer many of these questions. At least when Hoke starts a Frosh the kid is a baller (see Ryan and Countess) unlike the guys DickRod started as Frosh.

AS Hoke would say, WELL, ( lol ) you have a good class coming in next year and many will probably see pt from the get go. I haven't seen your schedule next year but heard it was brutal. Next year will be a challenge, but Hoke has gotten the job done so far.

Roundtree has to be a senior, no? 3 years w/RR & 1 yr with Hoke.

the schedule is a lot tougher next year. Alabama in Dallas, and @ ND. Two less home games.

on the road against Nebraska and ohio. the key will probably be getting at least a split there, then taking care of business @ home.

Roundtree's first year on the field was with Tate. I was at that spring game in April 2009 when Tate hit him on a deep post for a long TD. All of us sitting there were very impressed with Roundtree in that game. Roundtree played with Tate in '09, Denard '10, and Denard '11.

I think the nature of looking at next year's team is such a wash. I remember in 2007 being so damn excited for the potential of a national championship team. And then they come out and lose to Appy State, and Oregon made them look stupid.

and then you yelled "FIRE LLOYD CARR!!! ANYBODY COULD WIN 9 GAMES WITH THIS TEAM!"

In the spirit of the thread, however, they will definitely miss Martin the most, IMO. That guy is an absolute disrupting force up front. Hopefully Campbell can live up to some of that potential.

I think they will miss RVB every bit as much as they miss MM. Ryan was the unquestioned leader of that defense and him and Molk ran that team and held them together. I can't express enough at how impressed I was this year by all of our seniors but those two really took it to another level. They could easily have phoned it in after all they've been through but they responded like Michigan Men and set an amazing example for the rest of the team to follow. They deserve just as much praise as Hoke and Mattison and Borges for the turnaround this year.

Anyone else notice that on OSU's 2 fourth quarter goal-to-go drives, the UM DL was Roh-RVB-Martin-Heininger-Black?

No Will Campbell, no Quinton Washington (who wasn't really in much this year anyways but who will likely compete to be in the rotation next year). No Will Campbell is troubling from the guy that should be anchoring the line next year as a senior.

yeah, but I thought it was formatted poorly, so I ignored it.

No columns or bold option... Wish I could have..

There's a table function. I haven't attempted it yet though

I've made a couple.

It's not that difficult once you get the format down. Find someone else's, and look at how it's coded in the message box. You can then cut and paste to add new rows or columns.
