Check this out. Great stuff .
We have to thank Luke for the defense and Haynes for the guard play. Remember when early last season we were worried about Simpson ? We played Unc in game 8 last season a 76-61 loss and Simpson came off the bench played 13 minutes and was a nonfactor. A few games later and after the loss to osu he comes off the bench verses UCLA at home plays 24 minutes and scores 18 in the come from behind home win. He keeps coming off the bench and Four games later in 32 minutes score 15 verses Iowa. The next game verses Illinois Jb makes the switch from Brooks to Simpson starting. I didn?t know both assistant coaches came from Illinois st. Glad JB found these coaches the coach for a Illinois st was cool about it.

One of the things that has really impressed me about Beilein is the fact that he seems to adapt his coaching style has the game changes. Coaches are control freaks and for him to admit he needed help with defense to take this team to the next level says a lot. Take Izzo for example. He is still running the same offensive and defensive sets he was back in 00. The Michigan offense this year even seems a bit different. I dont think we are as reliant on the 3 as we have been in years past.

I totally agree with you W. Pretty amazing what Jb decided to do. That he realized he needed help on defense. Hope the big ten doesn?t smash each other this year. So many good teams in the Big Ten. Hope Michigan has something left for seasons end with this thin of a bench. Hopefully the bench will get some work soon.

That is one reason why i posted the schedule. Hopefully, the bench gets some work in the next month.
