Given history and the circumstances of the game, I think he would be perfect for it.

And play SS!

Next round.

I remember the first time I saw Mickey in a Tigers game mid 60's,around 64-65-maybe 66, he went in as a defensive replacement, was thinking who is this guy? Might have been a Saturday afternoon game of the week. Batter lines a pitch to deep left center, I see this new centerfielder sprinting to deep left center and make a fabulous catch going away, another batter later in the inning did the same to straight center and he did the same.
Mickey was a 4 or 5 time GG centerfielder.
One of the 5 best I've seen as a Tiger, along with Billy Bruton, Kaline, Chet Lemon, and Jackson.

Tigers announce Pudge Rodriguez would throw out first pitch if there's a Game 5 tomorrow. Four Tops would sing anthem.

Jack Morris threw out the pitch last night with Brookens catching. Pretty cool. They had a cool video on the score board too.

I thought that Magglio would be a great omen for tonight, still the greatest game I have ever seen
