Would you guys endorse a trade for Marco Scutaro? Usually hits around the .270 area, not a great OBP, but does not strike out very often. Plays solid defense at both SS and 2B, so he could move over to SS if Peralta needs a day off.

Would be a good acquisition if you ask me, probably wouldn't cost much, especially since he is 36 and the Rockies are sellers. Would probably cost us a throw away prospect, or PTBNL.

There is no way Scutaro is "solid" defensively. He is at best average and regressing.

If were going to make a move it has to be worth the ink it takes to sign the contract.

We cant replace dogshit with day-old dogshit just because it smells a little less, it's still dogshit in the end.

If it's not a significant upgrade, it's not worth doing at all.

I just disagree with you how say the Tigers should not have made a move... DD and the Tigers needed to be proactive and they have plenty of money to try and find a guy with the dart board approach. Hudson was there and we should have grab him over the Sox.. While MS is not the answer maybe he could catch fire back in the AL. Getz or Johnson.I say hell yes to either in a heartbeat. We are 6 games back and falling... Panic is upon the land in Tiger nation and we need to be aggressive.
