Get StartedGood signing with another vet presence. Mathis was decent last year
Agreed. And he was more than decent last year.
I agree with KDP too......his replacement needs to be found this year. I like the fact that Bentley and Lawson come back this year.......but we need to find another outside CB. In today's NFL.....you just cant expect that kind of health for your starting CB's for another year.
I'd say somewhere in the first 64 picks......the Lions need to address it. Can you imagine the secondary if Slay and Mathis were to miss time?? I'm not ok with Don Carey starting on the outside!!
I agree he was better than decent too. He was solid. Just didn't wasn't the doom and gloomers to jump all over me for giving praise to a Lions players..lol. Heaven forbid!!
Mathis was ranked the top number 2 CB in the NFL per PFF. 12th overall.
Mathis was a stud last year. Good in 2013.
Yes, we get it......every player wearing honolulu blue is a superstar!!!
Good signing, and a guy that obviously WANTS to be here. Did he even work out for any other teams? My guess..no. His loyalty was to our team
Our defense played great. Anyone who said otherwise (everyone but me) is eating crow this year.
That's fine because you're still filling up on the crow from the top 5 offense prediction. Still have a side of our defense is better than Seattle crow to finish.

And Chris Greenwood.....the next Richard Sherman!!
