I can't believe they like Dak that much after just one year. I still think Rivers, Cousins, Luck and Dalton (to a lesser extent) are right there with Matt. I think he is in that 10-15 range but there are a few old bastards ahead of him.

He was a fringe top 10 QB this past year. People put him at #9. Ok, that seems acceptable.

Last year there were 15 QBs in the top 100 and Stafford didn't make that list. Which I agreed with as well.

Isn't amazing when the guy actually starts playing well, people start noticing.

Stafford was 8th in QB rating in 2015 though and 7th in TDs. And his rating was higher than Rodgers in 2015. He had a 97 rating which matched his 2011 season. So saying he was mediocre is just dumb in 2015.

And then 2016 was 100.4 pre injury. We got screwed on that injury during the Super Bowl run.

The players should have had him top 10 in 2015 and should have had him top 6 in 2016. They don't watch all the tape on him every play and every single QB in the league. The front offices do that.

You know what's amazing though? Complete utter morons like Mitch that don't "get it". That's what. The rest of the fucking planet sees it though...lol. He doesn't.

Stafford has always been good. Now he is great

for most of his career he has been above average...a few years he has been good to very good. He has never been great. He may get there though...you never know.

For most of his career he has been good but the team has caused him to look average. Now he's been great since second half of 2015 (44 TDs and 14 ints under Cooter)

Least rushing yards in the last 6 years of any team by a good amount
Least short fields other than the Browns by 1 short field
And most drops of any team
Weapon problems in 2012 2013 (injuries)
Running back injuries (top back 11+ games out for 4 of 6 years)
Protection problems 2014 and first half 2015
Lombardi
Finger injuries in 2011 and 2016 at crucial points of the season
