Is it possible? Could this team actually have started to play like a competitor for the SC?

Maybe Chicago just had an off game...

Still, I think the next game or the one after the 0-fer the Blackhawks have pitched on PPs comes to a crashing halt and the Wings pull out another win or two as a result.

This series just became very interesting!

Very true, but until now it didn't feel like this team had the skill nor magic to be legit contenders for the Cup. That feeling has been replaced with some guarded optimism that they might actually be coming together at the right time.

The other part about the PP is just due to dislike of Blackhawks and not liking their dominance at killing penalties. Lol

Well z...I think the first game went the way it did due to the Wings being worn out and the 'Hawks being rested. Game 2, I really think the Wings came out to show they could play and the 'Hawks were expecting a repeat of game 1 and got caught off guard. I hope I'm wrong, I hope Abby continues to get in byco's good graces again..and really if Jimmy keeps playing the way he is, anything is possible. Here's to hoping for the best...

The Brunner/Nyquist/Andersson line has been brilliant haven't they? We're showing we DO have the secondary scoring to match with Chicago's...Howie is getting locked in at just the right time...and Babs won't let them rest on their laurels. All of the sudden an upset looks possible. Who woulda thought that after Wednesday? Not me. At worst we get a Game 6 back in Detroit.

We are making the most out of our chances. Love the way we're playing, but Chicago is a very good team, even when we beat them they look like the bigger, stronger, and faster team. Doesn't matter though when we've got the snipers and the better goaltender.

Game 4 is huge! It's a must win for both teams IMO.

For the 1st time in a number of years though, the Wings look like they have enough young legs to grind it out for the long haul in the playoffs.
