Division 2
Williamston completed the undefeated 26-0 season as 10 seniors and 3 juniors beat the defending state champions Grand Rapid Catholic central 68-65 in ot. First title in 82 years for the Hornets. Mason Docks who played with the hornets as freshman and sophomore moved to Texas as a junior and asked his parents if he could come back and play with his friends and finish school at Williamston. He has a scholarship to UMBC.GRCc was considered a lock to repeat but ran into a determined bunch of upperclassman. If rpi get a chance watch some highlights or the game if possible. Great game.
