Minnesota tonight

Huge win! Without Bridges and playing against the refs all night!!

Ellis was HUGE tonight!!!

Really gritty win with Ellis and Tum stepping up.

Northwestern won't be easy even at home, but if they can get that one, then hopefully
get Bridges back maybe they can get something going for when the Big Ten schedule toughens up later on.

This was a huge win. And that was all about toughness. We basically played pat of the game without Goins so we had 1 player taller than 6-5. We had 6-3, 195 lb Ellis guarding a guy 6-7, 240. Grinded out a win.

Ward is special. The footwork and touch around the basket are remarkable.

Tum needs to play that aggressive every game. Ellis was a stud. Wow. Needed that win.

I'll say too that I think Izzo hit on something by having the 4 guard offense in there a lot of the second half. Even if you're sticking Van Dyk or Ahrens or whoever in there at the 4 you're going to be at a big disadvantage defensively. Might as well go with a lineup that's going to make you harder to guard on the other end.
