MLB trying to change contracts from Guaranteed to non-guaranteed?

Those contracts are bullshit, the commitment should be two way.

I seriously doubt a move like this would affect fans and our wallets. Prices for TV and Audio subscriptions, ballpark admission, apparel and concessions will not go in reverse, because of this.

Maybe not and they'll still get paid, from bonus like in the NFL. But it will give a team the option to release a guy who is playing terrible, making a ton of money. But I'm not sure how something like this works without a cap..

No doubt the NFL is more popular because of it, that and the cap. In the NFL people have a glimmer of hope, regardless what team, at season's start. IN baseball, no. You won't see Cub fans or Astro fans suddenly think 2014 will be their year.

I don't think the NFL is as good as it used to be...the parity has hurt the overall play IMO. But, I would not be opposed to making contracts non-guaranteed. However, this will probably never happen with the Union.

Most likely, no. Parity as a whole is good. It gives all fans hope. Especially teams like, well Detroit. And having a cap would be great for baseball, like 135m for example. Maybe 120m, even better.

Btw, the NFL is as popular as its ever better.
