as opposed to other sports i honestly have no idea how much most nfl players make because signing bonuses and incentives skew the numbers so much. i'd say sanchez, being a #4 pick prior to the rookie pay scale is definitely overpaid. but what about jason smith? or aaron curry? gerald mccoy? rookie deals tend to be boom or bust.
