Your Spartans were an easy team to root against this season for obvious reasons-Michigan and Michigan State were in competition for the championship of the B1G all season long-but that said, your team was a hard team to hate.

Unlike most seasons, none of your players are major assholes-and they overcame adversity and played well together.

Up 20?? We should be up 30. Cassius missed a layup. Ward missed a bunny. McQuaid hit a 3 that didn?t count because of a charge. 11 turnovers....9 of them just lazy passes.

We?re playing really well defensively and Minnesota is missing most of their open shots. If they start hitting just their OPEN jumpers this will be a game at some point in the 2nd half.

It's all icing at this point as far as I'm concerned though I like the matchup with LSU. They're long and athletic, which isn't good, but still think I'd prefer that to facing Maryland in DC.

Gotta cut down on the turnovers.

I feel like no matter what happens now the season was a great success. Doesn’t mean I don’t want the Final 4 or at least a win over LSU, but getting out of the first weekend is a monkey off the back.

No matter what happens from here on out, the season will be remembered for the Big Ten Title and Conference Tourney Title. Had we lost this weekend it would have been remembered for that.

LSU is a good team who can beat us if we are off or they get hot, but I think the styles matchup well for us. LSU doesn’t do as well against good defense. As big as they are they don’t rebound well. Water could give Cash some issues though. MSU is a 6 point favorite.
